Go snorkeling around shipwreck which holds many secrets.
While cruising ahead to the north side of the island, on your left side, take a look at the lighthouse in Veli Rat - the highest lighthouse on the Adriatic.
Take a break at Sakarun beach – one of the most famous beaches in Croatia. The beach gained its reputation with the whiteness of the sand and turquoise sea, surrounded by pine trees that provide a welcome shade in the summer. It is about 800 meters long and at some 250 meters from the shore, it is 3.5 meters deep, which means that the swimming area is extremely large and shallow and suitable even for young children. On the beach are few catering facilities that offer refreshment from the summer heat and light snacks.
Continue your trip to less famous but even more beautiful Veli Žal beach situated just opposite of Mežanj island. The beach is a combination of fine white sand and small pebbles. The colour of the sea is a rich blue-green, and it is not uncommon to see dolphins swimming in the distance. The beach does not boast any facilities other than a rustic beach bar, where you can try tasty tuna fish burger.
If you are looking for some more adventures you can explore The Golubinka Cave which is situated on the southern shores of Dugi Otok, west of the Brbinjšćica Bay, where it is also the best to anchor the boat even when the sea is calm. Brave ones can also do some cliff jumping.
On the way back to port enjoy the view of the old city of Zadar from another perspective, enjoy your time looking at one of the world's most beautiful sunset and listening the Sea organ music.
